Working in close collaboration with the architect and client, this project involved the demolition of an existing dwelling and subsequent land division into two allotments, followed by the construction of one dwelling and house and land sale on the neighbouring block of land.

Terra managed all planning, building rules consent and development approvals and was involved in all stages of the project, from site acquisition and design concept to construction and completion.

The design of this luxury three-bedroom, single-storey family home takes cues from mid-century architecture and Palm Springs’ iconic desert modernism movement through linear forms, refined detailing and a palette of timber, concrete and natural stone. Achieving this design intent demanded a high level of craft and diligence, which is evident in the finished result.
